According to the company website, the TCS (Tax collected at source) at the time of purchase is around ₹55,900 and an insurance cost of ₹292,268. The XC40 Recharge under the C-segment Subcompact SUV is built on the same Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform that underpins the regular gasoline-powered XC40 and is Volvo’s first foray into the electric vehicle segment in India.
